WATT Professional Studies informs the general pupil that the department for IELTS programmes is open for admissions for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The training takes a maximum of 28 hours spread over the weekends.
We have regular session which happens on Saturdays and Sundays for about one (1) month in the afternoon. In this session, a number of students are trained together.
We also have an intensive session which happens within a week. For the intensive session, candidate pays extra fee. The intensive session contact hours are structured for only the candidate and the Trainee Executive during the period.
In IELTS, there are four sections:
Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking.
There are two different IELTS tests: Academic and General Training. The Speaking and Listening sections are the same in both tests, but the Reading and Writing sections are different.
We have IELTSUKVI which is meant for those desiring to travel to United Kingdom (U.K.). This test has the General Training and the Academic.
We also have IELTS Standard. This test has the General Training and the Academic as well. It’s meant for those desiring to travel to different countries except to the U.K.
The training fee for General training or Academic for either IELTSUKVI or IELTS Standard is the same but the test fees are different.

As mentioned above the intensive session attracts an extra fee of GHs1,000.00.
After paying your fee, you access a course material designed by the British Council which reflects the contents of the test format.
We entreat candidates to be very careful when booking for a test. You need a coaching on that in order not to make huge mistakes that get you frustrated. At WATT Professional Studies, we help you do your booking successfully at no cost when you undergo the training with us.
Nevertheless, you pay a fee of Ghs250.00 if you only need assistance in booking. After successful booking, you proceed with paying of the test fee.
At the end of your training, we also conduct series of mocks to make sure you are equipped before taking the test.
Note: Your training fee does not include your test fee. Training fee is for your classes of 28 hours and your test fee is for the exam you take with British Council to get a certificate in order to process your travel documents.

HOSTEL FACILITY
